I know this was over 3 years ago already but maybe you see this and want to do an updated tutorial for V18 👀 How would you go about this when using Virtual Machines? Do you think you can achieve this if Excel is only installed on the Host (Using Oracle VM)?

Hello everyone!!! Today 12/20/2020 I installed the Plug in in office 365 with w10 20H2. My mistake was in the path of the Excelmanifest file, where we must insert the name of the computer and that was not very clear to me in the video, here's the tip!

I have a problem with the installation of Wincc unified reporting V4.1, it stops at 'Modify System' with this errror ine thr log error: 'FAIL! // SetupUnit // (REP_Excel)'. In the other hand, in Excel i have an error: 'The content is blocked because it isn't signed by a valid security certificate.'

Do you have any idea how can I solve this issue, please. Thank you again.

I went through the steps, but for me when I insert the Add-In, the "Wincc Unified" option does not appearing in the menu bar. Just popping up the "Wincc Unified Reporting" at the right side with some text without any functionality. Can you help me with this problem?

However, I have a problem. When I press "Connections" 4:24 into your video. This will open the window on the right, but completely white. At the same time, a window opens in the web browser. Also this completely white but with the "SIEMENS" logo in the bottom left corner and the "TIA Connections App" in the right corner.

Nevertheless, I have a problem with the plug-in: the tab appears on my Excel (Office 365, Desktop version), but when I try to login with the username and password I entered in the WinCC Unified configuration, it doesn't do anything (no error message or what).

Thank you for your videos! I am trying to import add in into my excel. After trusted add in catalog procedure and even run command CheckNetIsolation LoopbackExempt -a i can not choose plug in from my add ins. There is nothing. Could you help me, please?

Servus, soweit alles verständlich, leider arbeiten wir noch mit Office 2010 und da ist die Vorgehensweise ein bisschen anders. Habs über XML Quelle hinzufügen versucht, leider nicht ganz erfolgreich. Kurze Info wie das einbinden unter Office 2010 funktioniert wäre nett!
