I am on iPad iOS 13.3.1 on my iPad Pro 11 inch And I have a Magic mouse The one before magic mouse 2 and it still works

My Magic Mouse 2 still works with no issues on my iPad Pro 10.5. (used the work around method to originally connect) Had it connected since betas and currently running latest version. I won't ever disconnect because I do know it won't reconnect. My friend bought a Magic Mouse and there was no way to connect it. If you don't disconnect your Magic Mouse you should be okay.

Update to ios 13.4, now you can fully use the mouse 2, include swipe!

This is bizarre. I own a iPad Pro 12.9 with a Logitech MX Master 3 mouse and also an iPad Mini 5 with a Logitech M535 and i can scroll all the menus perfectly. Both have iPadOS 13.3.1 installed. Not dismissing the point you are making, but scrolling works perfectly on my iPads. I just double checked it.

Not sure whats up with yours, but I can still connect and use my Magic Mouse and also connect and use my other mice. Scroll feature still does not work for Magic Mouse but it still works for the other mice.

Just confirmed now that my Lenovo Yoga mouse does scroll in the settings app (and in other apps), though poorly, on my iPad Pro 11". I hope they don't remove the ability!

I totally agree with you about a mouse and/or trackpad being introduced in 2020. I was hoping it would be an update in IOS not a product (though I have read the rumors about Apple keyboard with trackpad). I have a 2018 12.9 Pro with Brydge keyboard and use a Logitech mouse occasionally and Pencil often. I won’t update, esp the keyboard, but I do understand where you are coming from. I’ll have to try my mouse now out of curiosity. Always check your videos so will keep watching for updates.

Same thing happens for me with the Microsoft mouse. Had to get a replacement cause I thought it was broken. I just learned that I have to disconnect the mouse or take out the battery and it’ll work fine. Very annoying when I need to get work done

The title says Magic Mouse 2 is dead but are you referring to the Magic Mouse 1 (with batteries)? The Magic Mouse 2 works fine in the final 13.4 but not the Magic Mouse 1.

I have the same Microsoft surface mouse you have (I got it based on your video & recommendation) I have a IPad Pro 2 12.9 running IPad IOS 13.4 and it still allows me to scroll with the mouse in the settings.

That is actually annoying! I wanted to buy a mouse, it was either the pebble or the arc mouse. With this new update like this, cannot believe it! Ive got Logitech keyboard and case with a keyboard for to go.. if those stop working oh man I will be pretty sad:( b

Great video❗️I suspected that something like this would happen when Apple released iPads OS13. Apple to me, just seems to want you to use their accessories but they don’t get in a hurry to release them. I didn’t get a new mouse, trackpad, or keyboard when I bought my New iPad Pro at Christmas this year because I thought this would happen. Let’s see what there going to do❓❓👍✅🤔
