The shift option key hold down for the debugging menu does not work on Mac OS Ventura 13.0. Does NOT open a debugging menu.

Thank you, that was very helpful. I had the same problem with my magic trackpad. The original 1st one, so I thought it was dying. It kept connecting for only a few secs and disconnecting without the ability to move the cursor. Did the reset BT option and now it's working again. Thx!

Thanks! The first debug option solved my problem. Was driving me nuts. I heard it was a battery compartment issue on another video and that worked for one of my mice (that was having this problem) but another one was constantly disconnecting/reconnecting (even after using that battery compartment "fix") and this solution worked (so far) for that mouse.

For me - the following steps worked -

Connect the Lightning cable
Connect your wireless accessory to your Mac with the Lightning to USB cable or USB-C to Lightning cable, wait one minute, then disconnect the cable. This pairs the accessory with your Mac and charges the built-in battery. To check your accessory's charge level, click the Control Centre icon in the menu bar, then click Bluetooth.

This video actually made a lot of sense. My AirPods Pro kept on getting disconnected and the solution that Apple Support gave me was to reset it. I wasn’t aware of the Shift+Option combo. Hopefully this works. In addition, I did a reset on the bluetooth module itself.

Does not work, MacBook Air on Sonoma, those menus don't appear with a shift option click from the menu bar or the control centre

Selected Factory Reset and it worked fine for a single day then back to intermittent connection lost nightmare again. Maybe I need a different spell for this Magic Mouse
