Destiny 2: Collective Obligation is just stupid now. That's the video.

Collective Obligation came and went without much fanfare when it first released and Bungie has noticed. They ended up giving it some substantial buffs very recently, including addressing one of the main gripes I had about it. But in a world of subclass 3.0 ability spam, can it hold up?

CORRECTION: While champions can't be suppressed, they do still store the suppression debuff.

I still think if/when this gun gets a catalyst, it should give Repulsor Brace, it would pair right into the design philosophy of the gun of Void Debuff applying, and triggering it would give the overshields which would refresh its own magazine from it's secondary trait

For Warlocks, If you want Devour, Chaos, and Child of the Old Gods, I recommend using secant filaments. With Secant Filaments, you gain devour for free by using an empowered rift plus it gives you overload rounds on all weapons.

On the Titan, you can apply all 3 debuffs to the Enemys with a single grenade

This exotic will be my go to weapon when full auto becomes a feature next season.

Love a Datto build craft video. Do many options. Gives room for players to make the build their own without sacrificing the point of the build.

I fell in love with this thing when I took it into a GM while on a solar warlock. I just leeched what my fireteam was doing with void and was able to suppress lucent hive on demand just as good if not better than they could. it was amazing.

It feels amazing like a raid exotic should. and it makes you focus all the build on void. i think bungie is going in the right direction with new exotics. exotics now and i hope moving forward should enable builds and not be just for dps like old time. it used to be "this dose the best dps everything is trash don't use it". even the season exotic delicate tomb with fallen sunstar on warlock make ark feel so much fun. i find myself using old exotics because they are the element i want and would enable the wells in the build i'm using or benefit from font of might. as someone who came back 1.5 years later i'm having too much fun changing builds and exotics.

Loved it when it first came out (idc if you thought it sucked, it worked for what I wanted) and now it's even better. One of my fav exotics of all time, it's so dumb!

When you do weekly story missions for B-roll footage do you complete the mission or do you just go until you think you have enough footage?

I do think one of the bigger gripes with CO was that it also competed with Graviton Lance, which also received some huge buffs and isn't as technical to work with. That feeling hasn't gone away completely.

But I do love applying a ton of status effects playstyle. I also would love a sandbox where you tap a button and enemies don't explode in 3 different colors

I enjoyed it before these buffs on voidlock and with the buffs it feels really good to use

The personal issue that I've found when using Collective Obligation in low/mid-level content is that, surprisingly often, you'll outright kill enemies before you have a chance to siphon the Void debuffs from them. Which, obviously, ends up negating most of the purpose of the gun. Although, at those levels, you can also just use it with Devour for an infinite magazine pulse rifle.

Very good video datto, I also noticed something crazy with the mod sundering glare. Since it applies weaken, it also stacks with the void leech which is very interesting to me because of how easy it is to use.
