As a native Swiss, it's funny because yes, we are crazy enough to hike in the mountains, and yes, we are often very expensive (even if many proud Swiss don't want to admit it).
Please, if you go up a mountain for more than 2 days, take painkillers with you! When I was up there with my class, the first 2 days were fine, but suddenly I had a bad headache and felt nauseous because the air was so fresh, clean and thin. If you buy anything, try to buy at Coop or Migros, you should buy stuff from their own brands like Prix and M-budged or Migros. It's usually cheaper.

I am a guy from Poland working and living in Switzerland, life in Switzerland is not expensive compared to wages. Traveling in Switzerland for tourists can seem expensive especially if you are coming from a country like Poland

En Suisse les restaurants sont très chers. Et les kiosques aussi.
Mais, c’est bon marché si tu achète tout à la COOP ou à la MIGROS (Ces supermarchés ont aussi des RESTAURANTS). Pour les excursions en montagne les gens préparent et prennent toujours ici un PICNIC.
Même pour nous les suisses, les restaurants sont chers. Tout le contraire qu’en Corée.

3:12 when I was in 6th grade, we had to hike up a mountain too, BUT we had to find the way up on our own. The class war separated into two Groups. My group took 5-6 hours to arrive, the other one took 10 hours 😭😭😭
In the end, I got lice because we stayed in a little log cabin, where the bed sheets only get cleaned every 6 months 😭😭😭😭😭😭

As a Swiss i have to admit that living in Switzerland is actually pretty expensive but i think it's worth it because it's a really beautiful country.

The bottle of water in the supermarket is 50 cent here in. Europe if you go on the supermarket In Switzerland I think you can find it for 70 cents

Switzerland is expensive (but also because Swiss wages are higher), but not the most expensive country in the world and it also depends where u go, for example if u go to the Italian part prices are half that of German part
