Sorry George you just got pants and sent home crying. Sara's options are far better, more balanced and certainly more practical. The MSI is about 3 times as expensive as the Demko and I'm certain that it doesn't perform 3 x better. Love the vid. Sharp blades all.

My opinion: they should include a sharpening device within the $500; during the testing they should have to touch up each of the blades. Otherwise, both made a great $500 collection!

I like the Gerbrer Truss. I don't have much need for a big multitool as I have a desk job at home and carry a Leatherman Micra on my keys when I am out. I keep the Truss in my car/ camping bag and I found it to be just what I need when I need it.

Don’t really understand the hate, but I’m kinda new here. I feel like George had some fun by overspending on the folder, while Sara took it more seriously and spread her money smartly across each category. In the end neither approach was really wrong, as it just depends on what your priorities are. I’ll admit I probably spend more like George here, because I tend to use my folders more than any other category!

i tend to get medium quality across the board and then upgrade if something breaks or has something that consistently bothers me and needs a premium upgrade

I’m trimming mine down. All I’m gonna keep is a Inkosi, 0640, manix 2 and Pm2 for folders and a kabar d2 extreme and Sog pillar for fixed blade. The only multi tool I ever use is a leatherman wave+ at and outside of work.

Qsp, Crkt if I only had to do 500 most of mine are budget besides my buck 120 and Kershaw bel air but all my knife are under 100 I got 50 pocket knives and 12 fixed blades

The black coated 20cv demko is a wonderful blade but that ultem is crap ask how many has been returned because the ultem breaks just sitting in a safe
