As a writer, I really appreciated seeing how you edit your script to your updated standards

"But for now, this is still what brings me the most joy, so I'm going to keep doing it until that's no longer the case."

I'm sure it brings all of us great joy to hear that, Ryan.

I imagine Ryan's last pitch meeting being where Producer Guy asks "So you have a movie for me?" and then proceeds to sit there for 15 minutes in complete silence waiting for Scriptwriter Guy to show up, only to remember he finally fired him.

"I didn't have 'unclear', yet, in my arsenal"

...yup...Ryan definitely weaponized that word.

As a writer, I actually really enjoyed watching you edit your script. It would be cool to see an older draft from a classic Pitch Meeting and see how it changed before you shot it.

As someone who also struggles with enjoying the taste of chocolate and then eating it, learning you have the same condition hit hard. Stay strong Ryan 💪

I’d actually been very curious about scripts and stuff so this was very interesting and I enjoyed it. Congrats on having being a dad soon.

The editing was NOT boring, it was an awesome window into your creative process and I'd love to see more 😄 And not to look a gift horse in the mouth, but it might even be cool if you re-dubbed a few lines and played them over stills from the original?

You could even play them back-to-back with the original snippet, for comparison. Like, "So here's the original again... (15-second snippet) And here's how it would sound with these edits (10-second redub) Do you see how much better that flows?"

I realise it would be extra work, but just an idea for you! And thank you for these Revisited episodes, I enjoy them at least as much as the vanilla episodes.

The line about it being only 2007 was a very funny line. The setup was perfect, "So, it was in the 1990s?" I cracked up when you said, "No, 2007."

"You can burn out on something you love and still love it" Good lord thank you for that validation Ryan.

I'm so glad you've turned your mic around now. I no longer have to reverse the audio to understand what you're saying.

As someone who lived through the ‘90s, I actually really appreciated the “So this takes place in the ‘90s?”/“No, 2007” bit 🙂 I’m glad it wasn’t trimmed in the original 🙂

I think the joke about what year it is with the technology the characters use was the funniest one in this script, so im glad you didn't cut that one

I *LOVED* the writing breakdown.
With how funny these come out I never have a chance to remember how much talent and skill is required thru all the laughter 😂

I hope I’m not the only one but I’m definitely wanting more writing breakdowns

Ryan's delivery has come a long way since his original pitch meetings. His faster comic pace and funny quips and trademark lines would develop very well over the years to their greatness now!

I quite liked the "touching up the old script" part.

The best part of this was hearing that there is no end in sight for pitch meetings 😀

I will never not call this film "Fant-Four-Stic" 😂
