This is why you don’t just “trust the experts”.

People have spent more time focused on the looks of a lure than any fish ever has.

The other day I walked by the Yamamoto stuff like 5 times looking for it. I had no idea they changed the packaging. I even wondered if the new ones were some kind of knock-off. But as long as I can still get my Dual Tail Hula Grubs, it's all good!

“Everything changed when the senkos attacked” is basically the story of my fishing career. 95% of the time it’s all I need

Out of the millions of lures and baits my dad has in his bassboat. The senko catches the most

Coming from the man that marketed the “Roland Martin Helicopter Lure” all over TV in the 90s. TBH I did buy it 😂

Watermelon senko is my all time favorite. Great with a whacky rig.

I’d give the “senko” style worm top 10 overall, but bass fishing alone.

A jig is the best and most versatile lure of all time... Vertical, Swim, Flip, Punch, Rocks, Brush, Ledges, Drag, you can add a skirt, you can add any plastic, you can bottom fish with worms or minnows, you can drift it below a float, you can troll it, etc.

My grandfather introduced me to the Senko... He called it... "That worm"
Whenever he caught a big bass fishing at Lake Guntersville (*while camping at Goosepond Colony Campground every spring of the year for a month) and we spoke when I came to fish with him, I'd ask we'll so what did you catch that 6 or 7lb bass on?
What were you fishing with?
Every single time, he'd say...
I caught it on "that worm"
Thanks for all the big bass memories, Mr. Gary Yamamoto. I'm glad you were not interested in stopping the production after listening to Roland Martin.

I only use a 7 in black or dark in color rubber worm. Im in Florida. A lot of clearish water so a darker bait really gets their attention.

Roland isn't afraid to laugh at himself. He did commercials for him. LOL!

I've been using the senko since the late 90s and used to catch dozens of bass off it.
