You know, fisherman come and go, and TV personalities come and go, and there’s countless anglers on YouTube now...

But you sir, are still the very best of the best!

Thank you, Roland for all the memories and for continuing to do what you do.

Speaking about memory lane....I remember jumping around on my parents king size bed when the shows intro would start. "Roland Martin shows you what he knows!"
My father never fished but he would still take me. Usually dropping me off before work and picking me up after. He never understood how I got so obsessed with fishing. As a latch key kid, I had very little adult supervision growing up. I learned from watching you, Roland. Its the only thing I've continued doing throughout my life. (AND getting in trouble)
Only when I'm fishing, does the world make sense. Thank you, Roland.

This is the man who got me started bass fishing 40 years ago. He's as enthusiastic now as he was 40 years ago.

There wouldn’t be a KVD without Roland Martin. He paved the way for Tournament bass fishing as we know it today. He’s the 🐐 in my book

I look forward to his video updates. I am just recovering from a hospital stay from COVID 19. I am so glad Roland got through that himself. His fishing updates got me through in the hospital stay and kept up my mental health. Thanks, MR. Martin, you are a class act.

Thank you Roland for what you’ve given to the fishing community. I’m in my mid 40’s and couldn’t wait till the weekend to watch Roland and Bill. More to it than just catching fish, Roland is the whole deal.

The first time I ever fished Lake Okeechobee about 10 years ago. I stopped at your place in Clewiston. Your Uncle George turned my friend and I on to the Sink-O lure and told us where to fish. We had a great day on the water. I bought a shirt from your shop and sent it to my girl in Sydney Australia along with a photo of George and myself. Thanks Brother

Great to see you old friend! Its been a few decades since I've watched the dozens of VHS tapes I would record you and Jimmy and Bill and Hank on. I'm so excited to have found your channel. Keep 'em comin', son!

Thanks so much Roland. I love ya man! I've been watching you fishing for many years. At almost 62 I can remember those early 70s years of the Rapala. Still to this day my favorite fish baits. Now I'm making my own fish baits and painting fish baits. It just adds to the fishing fun. Keep the videos coming man. Thanks so much.

Roland is the type guy you can talk on the phone for hours with. Don't worry about potty break. Go ahead set that phone
Y'all come back he'd still be talking .

Could never miss his shows back in day. Heck we'd set timers on the VCR..Remember those days y'all??

I've been watching and learning from you since I was in Jr. High (1976). Glad to see you're still getting er done. I fished Okeechobee once. I got to fish a tournament there with Scott just before he went pro. We won by over 5 lbs. What an awesome kid and a memory that could never be replaced. The way I see it is, we were both taught by the best! Tight lines my friend.

You have such a truly awesome history in the world of fishing and have influenced the sport in a way most people don't even know. I enjoyed this video as I do all of your videos. Thank you for getting right to the point and keeping it simple. This approach to teaching makes it easier to recall information and apply the techniques you recommend. Looking forward to your next video.
