Northwest Alberta Wildfire - Structural protection crews (May 24, 2019)

About 160 structural firefighters are working hard to protect homes and buildings from the Chuckegg Creek wildfire in the High Level area.

Crews have traveled from as far as Cremona in southern Alberta and British Columbia to set up sprinkler systems and put out hot spots along on the perimeter. They’re equipped with 35 water tanker trucks, 27 fire trucks and a mobile command centre.
