Substituition method
4x + 2y = 24
2y = 24 - 4x ( ÷ 2)
y = 12 - 2x ---(1)
3x - 4y = 7 ---(2)
Subs (1) into (2)
3x - 4(12 - 2x) = 7
3x - 48 + 8x = 7
11x = 55
x = 5
Subs x = 5 into (1)
y = 12 - 2(5)
y = 2
