Good method, but I use the Retrotink 5X Pro. It has higher compatibility and generally more inputs, such as composite and component combo inputs, S-Video, and SCART with support SCART to AV adapters. The fact that I don't need a 3.5 mm to RCA Y Splitter also helps. The Retrotink 5X Pro also just supports higher resolutions. Not to gatekeep, it's just the method I prefer. I stopped using the OSSC in favor of the Retrotink 5X Pro months ago.
