Is a part 2 worth it? And if so, which other territorial disputes are there in Asia?

A part 2 is always justified, these videos are very interesting and well explained.

the reason why we have a claim over half of the Spratly islands is that we have a municipality there named kalayaan and was officially a municipality there for over 40 years (I'm just stating why that is our claim (the Philippines) )

The Philippines wasn't even colonized by Britain, but somehow they managed to create a territorial dispute between Malaysia and the Philippines over Sabah.🤦‍♂️

Most of the disputes are with China. Lol. Now I would like to see a part two.

Looks like you'll need parts 2, 3, 4 and 5 for this topic.

To be honest as Indonesian I don't even know there is a territory dispute between Indonesian and Australia over Ashmore and Cartier Island, even my geography teacher and Political science teacher not talk about it. This channel really helps a lot for me to study

All countries : we have lived in this region since centuries, it has always been ours and we should logically have it.
China : _we have a map_
*pulls out a Random ancient kingdom map to claim the territory*

The reason behind Yemen's claim of the Kuria Muria Islands is because they were administrated by the British protectorate of Aden. Today Yemen is the successor state of the protectorate of Aden, that's why they claim the islands.

About the South China Sea dispute, I'm still salty that the Chinese government built a military base 120 nautical miles closer to the Philippines and claimee the entirety of South China Sea as their territory. I even stop watching any modern movie that includes the updated World Map.

Honestly. I haven't even watched it yet. But I'm all for a part 2. The more the better imo

Two other disputes between Japan and North & South Korea are the Liancourt Rocks (Dokdo/Takeshima) and the Sea of Japan/East Sea naming dispute (not really a territorial dispute or a dispute that anyone but ultra-nationalists care about but still a conflict). The Liancourt Rocks are definitely a bigger issue though, with Japanese citizens regularly holding protests whenever a Korean politician visits the islands.
