Restrict a Child Account’s Access to PS4 Games By Rating

On PS4 systems, you can adjust parental controls to prevent your child from playing games based on their ESRB* rating. For example, you could restrict access to games that are rated for Teen and Mature audiences, and allow games that are rated for Everyone and Everyone 10+.

Why can’t my child purchase her own Sims 4 add ons if I changed this setting to 15+. The game is rated T for teens so she should be able to find it in the PSN store purchase her own add ons or does this setting not affect that?!

My son is set up as the family manager so I’m not able to restrict his time. How can I change this? His user is set up with my email and password so I can’t create a new user with my email I just want to change his status as family manager.

ive been searching everywhere and i ant seem to find an answer. i have small children who are sensitive to scary images still. so i restricted video games to e and e10 but when i go to netflix or hulu there are recommendations below. i used to just have netflix and hulu in the main menu but now its in the folder and i have to see recommendations which wouldnt be a problem except my kids keep seeing zombies and IT and other creepy things. i dont want them clicking on them or seeing them is tehre a way to pg your recommendations? or move netflix and hulu back to the main area out of the file?

My account got banned and I dont even play the game that much and I woke up to my account being banned. I looked it up and some people's accounts are getting banned because they get recieved a message or they get a friend request from somebody. Please fix this and unban my account

Sony a message directly to you. You should allow external assets because people would actually buy a ps4 instead they would buy an Microsoft console due to your poor decision and everyone thinks so too so please give it a try and I also would buy a ps4 and everyone else would too if you actually did more things to improve your company. You would have 5 times the players if you actually improved your services so hear me out and add external assets to skyrim and fallout just at least try what I'm asking thank you have a great day sony​
