New DE Blades Test Series Video 1: Dorco Titan

Review: This blade was comfortable enough, but not very sharp. It would work well in more aggressive/efficient razors, but not normal daily drivers.

Series Overview: I ordered six (6) tucks a blades (Dorco Titan, Treet Platinum, ZAE, QBall, ASCO (orange pack), and ASCO (Blue w/ Red pack).

Test Methodology: I'm going to test these blades out over the next number of videos while keeps the razor and setting, brush, pre-shave, water, and soap formula all the same to minimize variables.

Razor: Rockwell 6S on Plate 4
Brush: Phoenix Shaving Atomic Rocket
Pre-shave: Phoenix Shaving The Cube (mentholated)
Soap: Crown King formula (only scent my vary)

I've used dorco titan once just a couple of days ago.So far so good.I don't know how long it will last but i found it very smooth.Not aggressive at all.I've been using dorco disposable razors years ago and i was surprised!When i switched to safety razor i wanted to try dorco blades because of previous experience.I'll try different dorco blades in future for sure.

For me this is a good blade. Sharp enough like in the middle rang, and very smooth.

This blade works best in an adjustable razor. I use it on a Parker adjustable on 3.5-4 and shaves excellent with little feedback

ive been wet shaving for 12 years, and is it so much better then those disposal land fulling plastic short life razors.

Sorry to hear you've sprung a leak champ. The Japanese blades sound interesting. The Asko red and orange are both ptfe coated, the blues are uncoated stainless. Nice shave mate, cheers!

Sorry you have to deal with a leaky roof. The only advice I can give you is make sure you use a license, insured roofer.
