Показать описание
Utility blade knife sharpness test: blade edge integrity and frictional loss using cardboard, drywall, copper pipe and staple. Stanley, Stanley carbide, DeWalt Carbide, Milwaukee, Masterforce, Craftsman, Lenox, Husky, Kobalt, Hyper Tough, and Irwin tested. I highly recommend 2 blades, one for value and the other stands out as the best but it does cost the most.

Don’t forget guys, this guy is always unsponsored, and spends a lot of money on each of these videos. He’s saving us money by making them so we should remember that this guy has a patreon

This test was not cheap and took time to complete. Hats off to Project Farm.

I'll bet the manufacturers of all the products you've tested, never dreamed there products would be scrutinized so thoroughly on YouTube. It's great for the consumer. I hope you're being rewarded for all the hard work you put into everything you test. You deserve it.

I didn't think there was any significant difference in these, but after watching your vid, I see that there is. I went out and bought a huge pack of DeWalt blades. WOW - those things are durable!! Been using them for a drywall job, and I'm amazed how long they are lasting. Thanks so much for this one.

Wonder when companies are going to start saying “ Project farm approved “ on packaging.

Hello thanks for reviewing. I’m a drywaller and occassionally score metal studs. I’ve always bought husky or kobalt 2 for one packs and they’ll last me a year. A bunch of guys I work with shell out for Lenox and I can see your data proves it. New to your channel, thank you for the great reviews. This one in particular you’re helping a lot of working class hero’s out by your dedicated channel

I usually buy these in 100 packs and it seems I go through a lot of them, because they just become frustrating (and dangerous!) after a short while of use. But I am down to the last 5 and thought "I'll check Project Farm" before buying my next 100 pack. You never fail! Thanks.

As an engineer I can't appreciate enough your attention to details, custom test rigs and data compilation. Not to mention the time spent...
Great job as usual.

2:02 The Milwaukee says it has "carbides dispersed in a steel matrix" which is literally a description of high carbon steel, it's interesting how brands will use technical jargon to convince you that their product is somehow superior or better engineered

Easily one of the best channels on the platform. I'm so impressed with how thoroughly he tests everything. Such dedication is rarely seen.

This test is absolutely accurate. I am constantly using blades at work from cutting jackets and sheathing off of copper or fiber optic cables, to sharpening carpenter pencils. I have probably used every blade out there, I can honestly say that I have stuck with the new DeWalt Carbide due to me not having to change it out as often. I was impressed with the Milwaukee at first but I noticed the chipped edges came up a lot. Watching this video I was able to make accurate calls on which blades were going to outperform others and this test was spot on lol.

In terms of overall quality, this is quite possibly the best channel on YouTube. This guy _devises_ an effective and unbiased method for comparing all types of things, takes no sponsors, instead spending his own money. The man could start his own standards organization but instead he spends hours and hours making these videos for us.

Thank you Project Farm

I’m stuck in a loop of watching your videos. Just bought my first house about a year ago and your videos have helped me make decisions. Thanks for your videos and especially your attention to detail.
