Ride Concepts Wildcat with Raceface Affect, great for winter riding, but still cool enough for summer. Great protection on heel, toe, ankles, and D3O in the insole to help absorb impacts. The sole isn't as sticky as 5 10's stealth rubber, but they last a lot longer and still keep you planted. They've got gender specific shoes too.

You got to look into some Flat sticky soles reinforced toes ankle support made well and they designed to grip basketball court so the grip good. Jordans!!! My personal favorite

But Vans has superior grip with the waffle sole pattern. How can you claim that these shallow sole patterns are even gud for gripping pedal spikes?

5/10 has a sticky sole all right, just too bad the sole doesn't stick to the shoe! On my pair of 5 10, anyways. The sole separated completely from the rest of the shoe .
