This video highlights a couple things about police interactions.
1) WHY it's important to **record the police.** Notice that Team Leader Weaver's body-worn camera is ON HIS BELT and not pointed at WHO he's talking to or WHAT he's doing.
2) Asking for a cop's supervisor is a "50/50" bet on whether you'll get a cop that CORRECTS their subordinate or SUPPORTS their subordinate. Weaver SUPPORTED the actions of his subordinate. The chief CORRECTED the actions of his subordinates.
(Calling it "50/50" is being generous - you are probably MUCH more likely to get a cop that "backs the blue line" than someone willing to stand against it.)
