Last night I was lucky enough to listen that song live at 10cc concert. And I must say that after 45 years (when I heard that for the very first time) emotions were still high. Without any doubt it is still one of the best love songs ever. Good old style 70's rock band - youngsters can only dream that 50 years from now anybody would remember their name or songs, forget a few thousand people singing together. As a young man i lived the lyrics of this song a time or two during what I thought was my darkest days yet there was always light at the end and i sit at 62 single again but this song reminds me that fools fall in love thank you 10 cc

This is one of the most wonderful love songs of all time. The denial. The obvious love is so compelling. It is impossible not to root for this guy and to hope that his love is reasonable and receptive to his love. Anything else is a tragedy. We never know how this plays out...We can only hope for a positive outcome to this genuine cry for help. I'm not in love, so don't forget is is just a wonderful gift to humanity. Thank you.
