What gets me is that some of those tanks have nothing in them. No mud, no vegetation. Nothing that mimics the natural habitat of the fish. They're just forced to swim or float around in a tiny glass box. At least a lot of the aquariums here in the U.S. have the decency to try and recreate the conditions the fish live in.

Can you imagine how many tourists banged on the glass by now? He was probably instructed to do that by the staff. Shame the animals were in such poor living conditions. 😢

"Tourist Trap" is the name of the place, where they take animals from their natural habitats and put in small aquariums and pools for tourist money.
And yes, the animals are constantly being replaced (bc they dont live long there) and you wouldn't wver notice that.

Bruh red bellied piranhas aren't aggressive at all. They run away from living things and typically only eat dead carcasses.

As much as I love fish and to watch them closely, that place just looks sad. The eel's pond looks like a water attraction from an amusement park.

Small tanks, too many fishes, water dirty as hell in some. And that dark color on Dory is probably bc of water conditions and is really uncomfortable.

Fix all that and the color will get more bright and alive.

I work for an aquarium service company in Maine and we have one of those blue tangs that is basically black in our office reef. They’re so cool and we love him.

Amazing how they have mastered the way they display the fish. They left out everything and kept it as just a plane tank so you can see the fish really good! That’s so awesome how they took that much effort🫠
