The F40 is a car for men: analog, manual shifter, brutal. To drive it requires physical fitness. To drive it in anger, one must be a pro.
Unlike newer sports cars, where I saw grannies driving pink Lambos.
I know a guy that owns ALL Ferrari models since 1960s that also races the FXX Ferraris, he told me he prefers driving the F40 to all others.

It's the essence of Supercar. It is so pure, boiled down to the salt in everything it does and conveys. Even the Turbo V8 sounds incredible, (best sounding to date imho) with natural pops and crackles on the overrun, and not like the modern contrived pops and bangs we have heard in the last 10 years. Lightweight too, full of feel. It would be a difficult choice between this and only one other: the F50. But I'd choose this one, because it would not just be an event to drive once, I would have to learn how to drive the car, better, and better.
