"A little bit basic" - I learned more in these 43 minutes than any of the other videos out there about this amazing car. Great job as always with these user guides!

Surely, this is the absolute pinnacle of video for the automotive enthusiast? If this doesn't see your largest amount of views, what else is there?! This is the sort of thing YouTube was created for. Is there anything better than a walk through by James of an F40?

That was rhetorical. The answer is no. 😂😂

Thanks guys! Amazing stuff.

I just learned more about the Ferrari F40 than I ever knew, and I’ve been reading about this car since 1987.

Loved this one James. I'm starting a bare chassis rebuild of a numbers matching 1990 'cat' F40 that I have purchased, very soon on my channel and would love to get some advice from you at some point.

DK is the absolute best! I was fortunate enough to visit them in April and get a tour from Luke! I can promise you one day I’m getting an F40 and it will 100% be from DK engineering

In my opinion, this is the best guide for Ferrari F40 users (I am an Italian enthusiast). Regarding the modest quality of the paintwork, I am aware that to keep the weight of the car within a specific target, the car had to be painted with only 5 kg of paint. Thanks and congratulations for the excellent work. Best regards.

The best lesson about F40 reported by a gentleman. Thanks for sharing your knowledge!

Excellent! I’m probably in a better position than most to comment as I’ve had 9000km in 18 months in mine!
A really in depth and accurate summation. To be honest I was a wee bit embarrassed owning one of these other worldly super cars.
Non cat, non adjust, harnesses and window winders. Reading many of the other comments from those not yet lucky enough to experience one is humbling, I mean just how lucky was I? The best bit was that it cost me a fraction of the current eye watering sums. The seat covers were poor, wore badly and the rear clam pole reminded me of a collapsible walking stick! Massive brake fade and yes, on boost it was “warp factor 9 scotty” stuff. After approximately 240kph whatever you saw was almost immediately behind you! Stupidly I needed 2 turbos as I didn’t spool them down to cool temp. Frustratingly it needed a new short engine as “fix it again Tony” hadn’t fitted the crank thrust washers correctly on build. So 4 tyres, 2 turbos, 4 discs, 1 anti roll bar drop link and a short motor😱from memory I was told that the smaller gauges came from the Fiat panda parts bin. Stereo, are you kidding? The only sound track on offer was a wailing v8 right behind you. I still recall the lovely whoosh too! Thanks for opening my memory bank!

In my opinion F40 is one of the most beautiful Ferrari ever built. It's V8 turbocharged, cool looking inside and outside, well sounding... all you need to get lucky enough driving your example of F40 each and every day. Thanks for a full user's guide!

Watching a user's guide that will never apply to me while I eat a cup-of-noodles.

There is a great interview with Nicola Materazzi by David Cironi here on YouTube. Gives a great insight into how development went from 288 GTO then to GTO evoluzione and finally the F40. A must watch. Great video as always - Thank you.

This entire video is such a sight to behold with this eloquent gentleman being totally nonchalant in an enviroment that would make grown men faint.

I saw one for the first time since discovering this car in 1989 as a kid, on Gower St, London, around 2015 - I was speechless! The most beautiful car of all time for me
