Fire TV Stick: How to Fix a Missing App Icon

This video tells you what to do if you install an app but the icon does not appear. It does not tell you what to do if you get a broken icon sign.

Thank you so much at 1:43 pressing and holding the ok button and the play button at the same time for the fire stick to restart and this completely worked. Thank you❤

Didnt work for my retroarch apk 😪 i can still use the app though so no loss. I think it’s because my FS is a older model because when i installed the apk on a 4k FS the icon appeara fine. Thank for your assistance though, cheers!

Hello Chris I am trying to put Downloader on my firestick and it keep saying app not found but when I search for it the icon is there and it won't download please help me

my app was not evenon the list in "installed apps"... so its just like its not excisting. but luckily when I click/open the apk file in "downloader" it recognizes the app is installed and it looks for updates and then you can start the app. takes 10-20sec. so this means i cant even unistall the app again

My apps have disappeared from my Home Screen. I have that little bar under the ad thing where you can change which apps it shows in those mini icons, but there is nothing else. There is an advert bar under that like where your screen shows the movies like greatest showman and frozen on the home page. Mine stopped doing that. It was working last night but now there is nothing there. Like I can’t scroll down at all on my home page

Does not work. Cannot delete the app data to reinstall it as I will lose my Netflix configuration.

It work once for me with MX player but with es files I tried a few times with no luck

Tried it and a prompt came up saying Home is currently unavailable and I cannot get out of it! No menu!

Tried this but still no joy. App is not anywhere on my fire stick...when I type URL in it runs, then says App not installed?

Nothing works now! Not even voice prompt! This simply disabled my Firestick!
