Korra and Mako as a couple were even more insufferable than usual. Them finally breaking up was one of the few highlights of season 2.

No to Mako. Everybody else was great. Mako needed a solo or brother adventure or something. All the couple drama was getting old real quick.

I liked his detective arc, but other than that, it felt like the writers just didn't know what to do with him. His character didn't really grow at all after the first 2 seasons. Heck I'd argue season 2 was a step down, with all the lies to korra while dissing asami.

My unpopular opinion is that I hated Mai and Zuko together. Also, Kataang was gross and felt like mother/son more than lovers. The only canon ship I like are Korra and Asami and Sokka and Suki.
