A ton full of thanks to the uploader - Munchy, for such a wonderful tutorial. Got the idea behind, understood the process and was successfully able to root my Lenovo M10 HD tab. Got the boot.img file from the zip file extraction of the firmware, downloaded separately and then followed this tutorial. The only additional command I ran before the fastboot flash, was oem unlock-go, thereafter the flash and reboot command. Also I had set the ADB path in Env variables, hence fired the commands from the command prompt directly without navigating to the path. Thanks once again for this great video, liked and subscribed...Cheers!

Great video, made me realize I could just download and patch the boot.img using the bootloader and it worked like a charm
