I have lived in Indy my whole life and I can tell you the whole city screamed as loud as you did when he won, Helio is an amazing human and nobody better to bring back the excitement after a long year. So glad you got to experience it the way you did, sometimes us locals take it for granted and forget the pure magnitude of the greatest spectacle in racing. You will have to come back next year and see what a real carb day is all about!

Y’all won the lottery! Thank you for capturing and sharing that excitement of the entire race weekend. I have gone to the 500 over 25 times since I was a kid and love taking first timers. It blows them away every time. You don’t have to be a racing fan to fall in love it’s the Indy 500! You should go back next year when it’s full capacity with all the events!
