While I was making the farm a trident drowned spawned, and within 5 minutes of the farm being complete I got a trident! Thanks bro, this really helped!

Great farm and easy tutorial, may take some time for the drowned to spawn but it definitely works well. 10 minutes and I already got a trident.

Pro tip at the signs part
You can turn on toggle sneak so ur fingers don't die
Instead of pressing done press ESC instead way easier then using ur mouse all the time

If there's anyone else who's dumb like me, being in a river biome is a NECESSSITY. Drowned can't spawn this high in any other biome.

I just finished making this farm and in just 1 minute I already got a trident 😁 tip on the dying drowned because of fall damage. Put soul sand on top of hooper instead of slabs. Cause drops still go through that block

Actually quite simple compared to other farms, this was my first farm and i enjoyed making it plus it has a high payout, thanks for the video, only took me a few hours to make W farm

i've built the farm on java 1.20.4 but after afk-ing for 1 hour with looting 2 swor i still get 0 trident, am i that unlucky or is the drop chance very low?

Farm definitely works, but only spawns a drowned at the killing chamber once every 5-10 seconds. I am alone on the server, and built everything the same except i melted ice blocks instead of placing the floor then water on top. Are the rates normal or is there a problem to fix?

fixed drowned dying to falldamage by placing slabs on the upper water streams. this prevents mob spawning and the drowned will pathfind to the water instantly (at least during daytime, i have not done further research) rates during day got far better

Just so you know, you don't even need that maassive wall at all. The only reason it's there is to make the spawning chamber dark, so you can just not builld the wall if you don't want to. (As long as you're OK with the farm only working at nighttime)
