Thank God for the great work that went into this version. There are many parts in the Psalms where I ask over and over what do they mean??? Sometimes it ' s the language or it is so long-winded I can't grasp what they mean, so I can't apply it to my life. This is my struggle with the king James. I am sure there are many interpretations daily around the world of different parts of the Bible. NIRV has brought me to another level in my walk as the language is clearer and easier to understand. I still use the king James to parallel read and can't believe how many things I have misinterpreted in the past or left as a suspended blur in my mind. Praise Jesus for NIRV version.😀😇🤸🤸🤸👍💥💥💥🎈🎈🎀

I think the NIRV's great, it's great to see a version out there for children and anyone with a learning difficulty. If I'm reading a long verse in the NIV and I'm struggling to get my head around it I compare it with the NIRV, because the NIRV has shorter sentences it can help at these times.

I am blind and autistic and use the NIRV Bible because it’s much easier for me to read. Same thing with the international children’s Bible all of the only problem with the international children’s Bible is how horribly expensive it is. At Barnes & Noble it retails for $35. Almost $40. Where is the other one is a little bit cheaper because it’s hardcover. Even though I do like the leather binding because it is a lot more sturdy and durable.. The new international readers Bible is great though. Except with my CI device it is very hard to read because it’s so large. The international children’s Bible is much easier to read because it’s not as big. It is a much better Bible I feel like. I also would rather have a Bible that has both field and new testament in one book instead of having to purchase two books. I think the international children’s Bible only had one testament in the book I looked at. I’m guessing that’s why it’s so thin. I don’t know if that’s the case or not but I am just Guest sing. I mean, guessing. If that is the case, I would rather get the NRV and have both old and new testament in one book so I’m not carrying around two different testaments in two different volumes. I do use the Jesus storybook Bible or some of the other storybook Bible for reference so I would be carrying around three Bibles. Not ideal. Prefer to have only two with me in my bag. My main one and then my reference one. And the problem is that I forgot to mention is that I am not able to understand the concepts in the adult Bible so that is the other reason I use the NIRV or international children’s Bibles the nice thing is that I have the international one on the app Dwell. so I can read that one at home but for work, I work in a church, I would use the NIRV while the pastor is giving sermons. I sing and play piano and bass guitar. I use the NIRV to follow along with the pastor even though they use the KJV. The problem is they don’t have a kids translation of the KJV except for storybook Bibles or other ones like the child story Bible by Catherine Voss. That’s the reason I had been looking for that one is because of the fact that it uses KJV references which would be much better for me to use for work. And it’s much more aligned with the Bible version that my work uses. That is why when my seeing I device dies or has a low battery and I didn’t get a chance to charge it that I use the child story Bible on my phone, which is an audiobook on my phone, as a back up. It would be nice if I could find a print copy somewhere so that way, I’m not having to listen to it on my phone and have it look bad because the service is being recorded and it would make me look like I was not paying attention to the sermon.
