Speak the truth and the word of God with grace, love and humility. As Jesus said. There is a time for boldness, let God and the Holy Spirit give you the words to be said. When we speak from our worldly harts, the power of the Jesus and the Holy spirit is lost.

This is a self defeating view of the gospel. You're already elect and yet you still need to hear the gospel and have God respond for you.

The problem with Jeff's reasoning is that there is no real need for relationships. If what Jeff says is true than you don't need to meet people where they are at and get to know them relationally, you simply just preach the Gospel to them on the street and hope God loves them enough to save them. Paul certainly didn't follow this example - he became all things to all people to win them to Christ.

So evangelism is a waste of time. The elect who were chosen to be saved will be saved by God and do not need you to present the gospel to them at all.

Hang on a second, so the gospel calls men everywhere to repent and believe the good news, turn to Christ and live, and trust in Jesus for eternal life, but then you say that message is only for the elect, but I thought it was for men everywhere? and if its for his elect then they don't need to do anything because God's already elected them for salvation, and on top of that God uses that message to condemn the unbelievers, but why don't they believe? because God has chosen not to draw them, so if you're an unbeliever then you're screwed, you're born into sin and you can't do anything about it because God has chosen not to save you, sucks to be you I guess, calvanism makes no sense and turns God into a monster.

Why ought you to be gracious? If God shall regenerate those whom he has elected from eternity past regardless of your efforts, then you have no obligation to present the gospel in any particular way. At least, no obligation that has meaning in the conversion process.
