Today I visit the gravesite of actress DONNA DOUGLAS who played Elly May Clampett on the classic 1960s TV show THE BEVERLY HILLBILLIES.

Douglas is buried in a small church graveyard at Bluff Creek Cemetery about 45 minutes north east of Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Thanks for joining me today on another raod trip down memory lane and for sharing the memories!

I met her a couple times. She came into my work and was surprised someone my age..I just turned 40...knew exactly who she was. She was one of the sweetest people I ever met. When people started recognizing her she personally visited with every person. You could tell she loved her fans and was proud of her work and loved when people called her Elly May. What a wonderful lady

As a young man, growing up watching the Beverly Hill Billies I had a crush on her. I actually got to meet her years later at the National Gospel Quartet Convention. She greeted me withh a smile and I she hugged my neck. I melted ! She was good to her fans and that hug meant the world to me. It took some time to get over her passing. Thanks Steve for visiting these places I know that I will never get to visit. As I am 60 yrs old myself. Really enjoyed the video Thanks for sharing it with us.

Used to love the Beverly Hillbillys. Mu uncle had graduated from Air Force Basic with Max Baer from the show and when I saw Jethro in his Air Force class photo it was funny. Good video as always.
