Marty, I have never played guitar ever in my fifty eight years. I bought a cheap guitar and a little amp. With your YouTube videos I'm already playing some one string AC/DC, Black Sabbath, and whatever else was on lesson 3, I think.. my point is I've only had the guitar for about 6 days. Thank you. Honestly Marty i cant thank you enough for devoting your time to show people how great guitar is and how powerful music can be, ive watched your videos for about two and a half years and im so grateful because my childhood best friend passed in january and me and the boys had depression after that, but we all stood strong because our good friend was the best out of all of us and he did the same your doing, inspiring us and giving us a reason why the purity and happiness of music can make great things happen everyday, and that whatever happens will be for a reason. I am a classical trained guitarist who has always shunned electric guitar because of the many switches that I need to flip on the amps, as I am so used to the simplicity of classical guitar. I Guess Marty changed my mind, the neighbours better be prepared, it’s Black Sabbath instead of Bach now.😂😂😂.

Just got my first guitar at 56- an electric Strat. I tried learning my girlfriend's acoustic 12 string about a year ago and didn't enjoy myself at all. I read up on electric guitars and learned it is easier than acoustic and certainly easier than with double the strings. Then I looked for lessons on good ole YouTube and wound up here. Much more satisfying to whang out some power chords straight off. Now I've worked my way here and I'm still enjoying myself! Took a few side roads and explored tapping and harmonics, too. You are a good teacher and I can't wait for my fingers to stop hurting!

Just bought my daughter (11) an Epiphone Les Paul for xmas since she asked for an electric guitar. She is into Nirvana and Metallica... Can't want to get her on site. Really good stuff, Marty. You rule.

Marty is honestly the best guitarist to learn from in my opinion he has taught me well an his explaining in steps are amazing the camera angle is perfect

Marty's "Intermediate Foundation For Electric Guitar" course has 40 Video Lessons, 10 Bonus videos and a 37-page printout of keyboard diagrams, etc. I purchased it yesterday and have downloaded the first ten video lessons for offline viewing. Printed out the 37 pages of diagrams on my printer. This course is a true value IMO. Glad I looked into it and took this step!
