The “Acorn Off-Grid Home” book provides a high level tour of why off-grid systems can give people more freedom in our modern age. We need affordable, sustainable, decentralized ways to provide for shelter, energy, sanitation, water and food. Many people crave the freedom and connection to nature this way of life provides.

Beyond the why behind off-grid living, we delve into the 50 key off-grid systems that enable life to be lived well in a sustainable, affordable manner. These are the building blocks for sustainable freedom.

We explore how tiny homes, solar power, rainwater systems, biogas, micro cabins, permaculture, composting, biomass heating and many other off-grid building blocks integrate together to provide a life of affordable, sustainable freedom.

Next year, in 2024, our team will be taking a big step back from publishing the weekly video content. It’s been a wonderful year here in 2023, but we need to catch our breath and focus on family.
