Is it just me or is this simple, simple scene probably one of the most powerful in Walking Dead history

One of the best episode endings in the Walking Dead.

I just love the importance and symbolism of this scene. Here Shane realizes things won’t go his way anymore and almost no one in the group will trust him to be in charge or have any authority. He’s all alone now.

0:46 I just love his expression here... disgruntled and resigned almost. Great actor

That song is literally still a song I can listen to over and over and not get sick of it. Just like how I can watch twd over and over and not get sick of it. It's such a great show

I couldn’t believe how emotional this scene was to me...
The single walker..

All these years later and I think this is still the most powerful and poignant ending to a TWD episode. The song, the cinematography, and acting are just perfect. It’s a very haunting end to the episode.

You can tell the walking dead had good writing at this point, the fact that one of the main survivors can relate to a walker that's on it's own in a field just shows how incredible and human the story was in this show.

My favourite scene in TWD with one of my favourite characters Shane. I always interpreted this lone walker to reflect how Shane felt in the group...which was an outcast all alone.

One of the best and most symbolic scenes in this show, I never get tired of rewatching it again

Ah man something about this scene and season 2 in general. At the time I thought this season was shit and boring. Rewatching it, it’s probably the best season of the show. Watching Shane’s slow transformation and Rick becoming more colder. Class

Season 2 was the best hands down. Shane's story is better than any one else's in the series

This is the best scene of the show. Not a single word said and still is the most subtle and powerful fragment ever written and displayed into the screen

I'm watching seasons 8 and 9 and had to come back to this. I miss when the show was like this.

It’s by far my favorite scene of the show. It makes me cry every time I watch it.

This whole conclusion to Shane's arc was the best TWD ever was or will be. It is the closest TWD ever got to other, greater shows.
