He has a narrative in his head, and anything that contradicts it will just be ignored. I would love to be pleasantly surprised, of course, but I seriously doubt it will happen. The truth usually lies in the middle of two extreme positions. I believe some SENSIBLE walls are required to uphold our laws but walls from sea to shining sea is a complete waste of money. Similarly, some SENSIBLE gun controls are mandatory to prevent gun deaths. Unfortunately our Primaries reward candidates with extreme views. Until we have a viable third major party or a drastic change in election laws I am afraid the Tribal natural of politics is only going to get worse.
