When I was there, the people who were most enthusiastic about talking to me were either the really alternative people (tattoos, piercings, etc.) or old dudes. All the old Japanese guys I spoke with were hilarious and now I know why that entire trope exists in anime lol. These guys had zero filter and said the most outlandish stuff 😂
