Nothing against Perez as a person. He seems like a decent guy, but he just isn't consistent enough to drive that RB. He doesn't seem to have the self-awareness to step down with dignity. For him to demand a 2 year contract during the negotiation is just bizarre.

Would I replace Perez? If I was the team manager, probably yes.
But still... does anyone remember all of Verstappen's teammates from the first race on? Sainz, Ricciardo, Gasly, Albon and Perez. And they all are all still racing. Maybe I am a sentimental sucker... but I like it that all Max' former teammates in the F1 are still driving, after all those 9 years. All good things are coming to an end someday. Probably at the end of this racing year.

But if there is one former teammate that really can challenge Max, it is his first teammate at Toro Rosso; Carlos Sainz.
And I give all my love to all teammates and former teammates of Max Verstappen.

It is NOT Max "verSHtappen" ... Max is not German 🇩🇪 (Germans indeed can in most cases pronounce "st" as "sht") ... Max = Dutch 🇳🇱 (Father) / Belgium 🇧🇪 (Mother) ... It is not "Bottash" nor is it "Lewish" certainly not "verSHtappen" .... This BS started long time ago when a British 🇬🇧 sport presenter interviewed father Jos Verstappen and assumed you can use a German pronunciation to a Dutch 🇳🇱 Driver thinking it is so "funny" ... It is not.

Serious question: can any Englishman 🇬🇧 say "versatile" out-loud without saying "vershatile" phonetically? most can about 99, 99% ... that is why most English 🇬🇧 can pronounce Verstappen 100% correct!

Father Jos Verstappen (also F1 Racer) was very active between 1994 - 2003 back then only a very few said "Vershtappen" but the vast majority of British sport presenters pronounced it perfectly.

The Dutch 🇳🇱 NEVER EVER pronounce the st as "sht" ... that is why I mention the difference between the two countries ... By the way, I worked in Germany 🇩🇪 have family in Germany 🇩🇪 and am part German 🇩🇪 myself.
