Yes, I can remember a world without texting without the Internet without streaming services. It was a nice simpler time and a more civil time.

When you "remember" something...you're actually just remembering the last time you remembered it...not the original

11. Years ago, I met a young woman who's father was into horticulture and did just that. He called it the "Fruit Cocktail Tree".

What would tuna steak be substituted with? It's a pretty unique looking cut of fish. 🤔

Here's one.
After mom and dad got divorced in '80, I was raised by mom and lived with her until her passing in 2010.
Brother initially lived with our dad, but then lived with our Grandma (the Good one and funny one-'Dad'd mom') till her passing.
Granted I visited and chatted with Dad often, but of all three kids I'm the one who "Channeled", and "Acted" like Dad the most from his mannerisms, to how he talks now and again.

I know I'm one of the few, but I'd rather sleep on my carpet than in a hammock. No swinging, dizziness, I can sprawl out with pillows all around.

Salt on cucumbers, sounds reasonable. I put salt on watermelon. Sounds quirky, but it's actually makes watermelon taste better. Learned from my mother. And after I married turns out my mother-in-law did the same. These 2 ladies grew up in the same Era, but thousands of miles apart.

I went blind for 7 years. When I regained my sight, I didn’t know how to text. My wife had to teach me.

IIRC, my 11th-grade chemistry teacher also taught at Beaver college, which was a women's college at the time. Now, I believe it's co-ed. The students got a kick out of it, of course.

I mean technically you can't pick any reflection in a mirror as the reflection is behind the glass. You could pick a polished silver mirror from like 1243 I guess
