My daughter talked to several people who said their art was stolen by AI.
and the companies threatened the people about trying to sue them
I believe that AI will cause a lot of problems as in taking our jobs, and stealing from Authors and others.

What we call AI is really just massively adaptive software. Real AI is not here yet but probably coming. That's when we need to be afraid.

AI is a tool and like fire it can do amazing things to help humans but it can also destroy things just as easily. So my opinion on AI depends on the humans that are controlling it as that is what determines what it can do.

On how I feel about AI, I basically agree with you! Positive and the negative side -I'm also afraid of auto-learning programs and if it can get out of hand and overpowers mankind some day.. For the positive side I just doddled into AI drawing and find it quite fascinating, and look forward learning more about -and follow it's future development! x

I've said for years that technology was going to take over. Such a scary thought!

The main limitation for AI was computing power. We had the algorithms years ago, just couldn't implement them. However, a simple computer "passed" the Turing test in the 1960s.
