kittens can get into dangerous spots at night, like the small spaces under kitchen cabinets and dishwashers are often not kitten-proof. but they do crave comfort at night. i recommend a purring cat toy to put in her bed, they helped my mom's kitten as she didn't have another cat to comfort him.
