Sucre had the least to offer micheal amongst the prisoners in fox River. But micheal found the most trustworthy person in prison. Thats hard to find even outside of prison.

From the start I knew Sucre was a real one. Appreciated Michael in every way for helping him to get back to his family

For those who haven’t seen this show… Sucre doesn’t die here they stop burning him last second and are about to take him inside the prison but as soon as it seems like it’s over sucre gets a call from Michael Scofield asking what happened to him and if he’s okay, which sucre responds that he just ran into some trouble but he’s fine and to be safe and hangs up the phone and breaking it so that the officer won’t have a lead on him… he didn’t give him up and didn’t want Michael to come back for him and risk his newly found freedom just for him, Sucre didn’t offer much during the original prison break but little did we know how much value he held in loyalty.

Even the guard had the look, even for a second, of RESPECT. He would of loved to have a loyal soldier like him in his squad in different circumstances.
