Great Escapes with Morgan Freeman is an eight-part series from The HISTORY® Channel hosted and executive produced by Morgan Freeman. The five-time Academy Award nominee and one-time Academy Award-winning actor has appeared in hundreds of films and television roles. Famous escapes from Alcatraz, Dannemora, Pittsburgh State Penitentiary and other locations are recreated with actors playing KEY roles and interviews from some of the prisoners themselves, their families, their cell mates and from the guards and prison employees that tried to prevent the escapes. Along with the interviews and recreations, the series will utilizeS new software technology called Unreal Engine to recreate—with great verisimilitude—the prisons themselves.

If also want to know the history of Irelands Prison, I recommend visiting Kilmainham Gaol Prison in Dublin which is now a museum, I visited this place in 2016 and found it quite interesting in learning about my Irish history

My brother did time and only Tennessee at a youth correctional facility there were three inmates that they had just caught and brought back in they ripped up their carpets and threw it over the razor wire some of the inmates had over 2, 000 stitches to get out my brother did 6 years hard time there
