Hey Pie-o-nears.... Satisfactory Version 1.0 is coming in 2024 and its time to have some real fun, and now i just want to go nuts with an interesting playthrough. In this ep of our modded playthrough we unlock a ton of new and interesting items and machines, as well as build ourselves a new power source and plan for a mid tier base. All the goodies.

Like the series.

This mod is awesome. Really fun with the molten stuff, at first you easily miss how much better the yeild is, but once you realize, you immidiately think, new base from scratch. Tip! Go Harddrive hunting the molten/solidifier alternate recepies are crazy good.
I reuse the steam from my solidifiers in a solidifier, need to bring less water, i've also done the same for my power plant BP i reuse 50 water pr. 5 steam turbines and at 6 sets i save bringing in 300 water for the whole plant. Only disadvantage is it takes longer to boot the powerplants.

Molten is the way to go. Whatever you do., .., ., ., leave space for future upgrades. A new minehead (T3) is possible. Also, you can unlock recipes that allow you to add water to you rminers for even more production. Or add smelting modules in the miner to produce ingots directly. Leave space. Lots of space.

There is 3 tiers in the machines. Hence T1. You are going down the joyous path. It's once the next 2 tiers are unlocked that things will really make sense. Brace for more new machines. It's at this point in the game however that water turbines, coal power and a strong automation of versatile frames will help you bounce up. Oh and work your pipe alignments now for the molten stuff, if you dont it will bite you later. Now get what you need for a water turbine and find become a waterfall hunter. :)

It does seem like melting is better than your smelting recipes. The basic smelting was 2 crushed to 3 ingots, but the melting version seems to be 2 crushed to 1 liquid to 4 ingots, so a 2:4, which is better than 2:3

most buildings in mod are upgradable like belts simply select and click piece to upgrade.
