Codec can be a reason. AV1 needs much more power to decode while its more efficient at traffic while VP9 is much lighter. For me the difference is about 2x-2.5x of my battery life. You can right-click on a video and show statistics to see which codec is it using for current video

This test is pretty one sided because you are using gpu 1 for brave and gpu 0 for firefox. Gpu 1 is your dedicated gpu which consumes more battery than gpu 0 which is the integrated gpu.
