This was a beautiful collection of perennials. I have planted hostas in different areas. I got my first ones from divisions that my mother planted probably in the 60’s. The newer Heucheras are beautiful with the wide variety of leaf colors. Thank you for showing some of my favorite plants.

I recently bought some root plants. When I open the package I was looking for the bulb. I had never seen a route plant before. I went ahead and planted them after reading a little on them. But I’m so glad I saw your video cause I’ll know next time to give them a good soaking before planting. Thank you for recommending These plants because I was just thinking about what would be good to plant at this time. Love your videos

I had a hosta garden so dense that no weeds grew; no sun got past the leaves. Sadly, that garden couldn't be moved when I did. The weather turned extremely cold and the ground froze before I could move them. (My focus was on my peonies and roses and a few plants that could be grabbed quickly.)

I've enjoyed the kind and gentle way you teach about planting. I just ordered from Gilbert H. Wild. Can hardly wait for my plants to arrive!

Love all your videos and shows. I live only about 3 hours from you and have a question about your lack of weeds in your peony field. I have so many flower beds but mine are over crowded with weeds and grass each year. Some beds are raised and some just natural beds of irises and various annuals and perennials. I'm kind of at a loss how to keep the grass and weeds out other than hand picking. Any additional tips you can provide is greatly appreciated. Thank you again for all the beauty and knowledge you share. Have a great day

Fragrant peonies are so wonderful. I ordered a trio of fragrant peonies from G&W, as well as other plants. I almost ordered a red hot poker plant, but once bitten-twice shy. When I had one before I made the mistake of putting it in a large planter (20") and had to break the pot to get it out! I then transplanted it in a zinnia bed (at the wrong time, as it was growing a flower). It ended up getting crown rot and I couldn't save the poor thing. Maybe next year! Thanks for the video. I'll be getting my plants in a week or two. :)

I live in Southern California zone 10 & would love it if you would talk about flowers that would do well here. I'm a little jealous of all your east coast flowers.(esp. Peonies). Please help!!
