These prices are insane. I just don’t see how this can be sustained. I was in the market for a new HD but I’ve now just decided to dump a little money into my current truck and sort of“freshen” it up and keep rolling with no payment.

The removal of the electric adjustable steering column and the removal of the keyless entry on the door post plus the increased cost of the 2025 is why I quickly hunted down the 2024 Tremor I wanted and got it well equipped with almost all the options I wanted for 85k. It still a lot but the dealer did come off 7k of the msrp. Did end up with a 250 instead of a 350 but with the Tremor package you get the same axle and leaf spring setup as the 350. Love the truck.

The 2025 Chevrolet Silverado 2500/3500 LT with the trail boss package is going to be a big Ford competitor based on price. You can get LED headlights, black out appearance, Duramax, etc…for $8-$10k less than Ford. Most buyers care more about price than any other factor.

You keep saying it's probably no big deal about some of the changes, but a lot of no big deals add up to a big deal. Ford is cutting everything they think they can get a way with while raising the prices.

I was looking at ordering a 25 or getting a 24 off the lot. I liked the 24 better and got a 24 long bed lariat ult/sport. Seems petty but one of the things that really PO'd me was the door keypad.
The deciding factor for me was the wheels. I think those round hole ones are fugly as hell.

As always, great video and info, Ford is continuing with the greedy thinking with cutting down on features and limitations on options, I'm a Ford guy but things are way out of balance $ and can't justify a new truck anytime soon, hope those huge discounts start sooner than later that's been rumored but not going to hold my breath.

People will sit in this chat and say “Not affordable anymore”, then you’ll get responses “Speak for yourself, I can afford it, and I’ll buy it”. What Americans don’t understand, that as long as you keep buying, the more they’ll increase the price, until 6 years later, the guy who commented “I can afford it, and I’ll buy it” can no longer afford it. In 6 years the base trucks will be $80k.

Have had both GM and Ford trucks. Right now, Ford has the best interior. Better seats, controls, layout, storage, etc. GM needs to go back to the GMT-800 seats. Larger, more cushion, more adjustment.

These companies are all about their options and running up the price. This is why I went with my fully loaded Nissan Titan. Wake up American Makes! 80+ before warranty and taxes is insane!

JB look at the black appearance package on the 2025 grill. It has changed from the 2024 black appearance grill.
