Trying out Debian 11 'Bullseye'

Debian 11 just released, and in this video I go through the installation and setup of Debian "Bullseye" with GNOME.

Debian 9 LXDE: 100MB RAM
Debian 10 LXDE: 200MB RAM
Debian 11 LXDE: 400MB RAM
Any idea why all this resource increase?

How do you just TRY Debian - WITHOUT - installing?

Btw the installer is different in the live cd versions, afaik it's the same installer as manjaro (calamares)

Hello, thank you for this video. I have installed debian xfce on my computer but I don't have vim, there is only vi. I thought vim was installed automatically. Is it that me or you too vim is not installed?
