What a tragic loss!!! I loved her in, "Annie" and she was a HUGE talent all throughout her life ❤ Love that she was still choreographing in her final years, also - she never lost her passion!

The best always. Those legs, her total control of every tiny moment. And the knowing smile. No one came close.

A very great talent that spent most of her entire adult life serving one mans choreography, his bed, and lived in the shadow of his wife. Gwen Verdon who I think really had it all. Reinking was a balletic wonder that moved in circles of modern dance and was very experimental as a subject that one normally associated with the ballet. It just goes to show that when you train very high and then experiment beneath stardom comes easier. The striptease finger snapping grooves of Fosse’s style became wondrous with on Reinking’s body. And I think she enjoyed the perversion and new creation of it all. A very unusual and rebellious performer that forged something out of a whole lot of jazz. R.I.P

Interesting. It sounds like she’s saying "Ranking." Not "Rhineking, " as her surname is so often pronounced. I could not take my eyes off of her when I saw her in Dancin’, a well deserved Tony nom.
