I did not buy the laptop, so the claim that everyone is buying it is an inaccurate

I bought this a few weeks ago, and immediately upgraded to the max supported 32GB and added a 1TB SSD in that second slot. Super easy to do. I've been really pleased with it so far. Yeah, the fans are really loud, but I'm pretty much always playing with headphones, so no big deal to me. One thing worth mentioning, the speakers are absolutely terrible. Not a problem for me, since I'm a headphones guy, but worth mentioning!

I Own this very laptop. Out of the box it is fine for daily driving but adding 32gb(dual channel) 5200 and 4tb(2x2tb) gen4 NVME makes it outstanding. I ALSO upgraded the LCD panel to one with a higher NTSC and Gamout. My biggest and really ONLY complaint is it is LOUD! Those fans are incredibly loud! Bonus is it has USBC video out. I run it with a HP g5 Dock and a 24inch 180hz 1080p monitor mostly with external wireless keyboard and mouse.

I recently upgraded one of these for a friend. Reasonable value for money, although a lot of fan noise, and it ran hot.

I bought that same one and upgraded it to 16gb of RAM and it's pretty nice. Well worth it

Wait for prime sale get laptop for 650, go into bios disable effeicent cores. Upgrade ram and memory and enjoy. For $890 you got a 2.5tb memory laptop with 32gb ram and decent specs to run games.

I boutght myself an Acer Nitro V15 with a RTX 4060, a ryzen 7 7735HS, 16gb ddr5 4800mhz ram and 1tb storage for just 749, its crazy tbh. it performs well on all games. on fortnite i get around 220 to 290fps in battle royale, 144fps maxed graphics in apex, 85fps with Very high graphics in GTA online. 200fps in warthunder with cinema preset DLSS quality. On COD Warzone. i get around 80 to 100fps with Extreme preset, DLLS Balanced. Highly recommend. and sure the fans are loud but atleast you get amazing temps and High clockspeeds without throttling
Edit: fortnites optimization is trash, now i only get around 170-210 fps

I wish they would sell these with atleast 12GB of RAM.
It would cost these companys not a lot to do it, but the gaming experience would be so better overall.. 🙂

Got the same laptop around june, only difference was that it had come with 16GB of DDR5 ram, it smacks any game except for helldivers at maximium rendering settings, than it kills itself. Only problem with the laptop i see are with the fast and loud fan speeds it gathers a motherload of dust

High ram usage is also a good thing. You want the memory to be utilized. The problem is if the memory can not be reallocated when you want to launch something new.

Got this laptop with a single ddr5 16gb ram stick and a 4060 with 8gb of vram (on sale). Put Ubuntu on it (better performance). Found that lifting the laptop off the table with a stand helped with temps from 80c to 68c on the gpu, letting it stay at full clock. Warthunder movie setting 154fps all day.

Why buying used for laptops is always going to be the way for me. It's not hard to find a good seller and a decent deal. For $700-$800, I'd rather deal with a small scratch and year old thermal paste/ a slightly degraded battery for a much better long-term experience.

I need me a laptop for gaming outdoors in the wild as a gamer in his unnatural habitat.

Got myself a Lenovo Ideapad 3. Slapped 32gb ram and some ssd's in it. Best decision i've made yet (gaming wise). Can run a lot of stuff on high/med on most games.

Will probably end up switching to a pc when this dies but i feel like it'll be a while before that happens. Bought it nearly 2 years ago and still runs well.

This is the nitro V not nitro 5. The nitro 5 actually has better cooling and runs at a higher TDP 95 Watts vs 65.

It's a bit... weird to sell a gaming laptop with 8GB ram sitting at over 70% use just idle.

Upgrading the RAM is easy though. Get the proper tools and follow a tutorial.

Hey! Always disconnect the battery before installing some component, whether is ram or NVME, or doing something inside of your laptop!

My brother used to own this laptop and it’s alright at first but after a while it starts breaking down. I would suggest looking for something else cause this one isn’t that great of a buy.
