Graph lines - How to?

The most important thing to remember about graphing lines is that you always need some combination of the slope of the line, and/or points on the line in order to graph it.

Sometimes though, that information is disguised. For example, you might be given the y-intercept, but that’s actually just a point on the line. Or you might be told that the line is parallel to another line, but that actually gives you the slope of the line.

So happy you put this up. As a Calc I student the other day was helping my cousin and forgot how to do this. I always loved slope-intercept form. The others got on my nerves. You really should teach.

Interesting. If back then, when I was a kid, people simply put me in a room sitting in a nice chair, gave me a monitor with these videos, no internet, an infinite refill of capuccino, no teachers and no classmates my motivation and education levels would have been higher and cost my parents a lot less money.

Hi Krista. What program are you using to show your notation? Are you using a iPad Pro or Surface with PowerPoint and then using the pen to make notes on top of your slides? I flipped my classroom a couple years ago and did a similar thing, but with my Samsung tablet, but had to root it; which was terrible and annoying.
