What is a Line Graph? Understand Graphs & Data - [6-8-27]

In this lesson, you will learn what a line graph is and how to read and interpret a line graph. A line graph, also called a line chart or just a graph, is a way to represent information or data in picture form. The x-axis is the horizontal aspect of the graph, and the y-axis is the vertical extent of the graph. Together, we can plot data on the x-y axes and we can read the data and determine how the graph represents the data changing over time.

I was a mathematics and pre-engineering major over 40 years ago. Since I discovered this series on YouTube just a few days ago, it has been a joy to review this material. I can honestly say I never had an instructor with the teaching skills of you. Sadly I didn't pursue my dream of becoming an aerospace engineer and working at NASA. True to the old adage of "use it or lose it, " I did indeed forget a lot, even though I studied through the calculus level. Now, at 68 years young, it's all coming back to me thanks to your teaching.

The reason one person runs more than another or walks more than another is they have a goal to reach for a reason...it could be a health issue or it could be a personal goal. If it were easy then everyone would do it so the ones that do it have a reason.
